This week’s chat will be something special! Join some of Haleh’s students from@MetMUnch at Manchester Metropolitan University as they ask some random and provocative questions of the #LTHEchat community in order to let us hear the student voice.
Students are asking questions

Haleh Moravej (3rd from right) and the MetMUnch Bunch
As academics we need to hear the student voice so in this special edition of #LTHEchat we are privileged to have some students from Manchester Metropolitan University (MMU) as our guest hosts this Wednesday. They will remain anonymous (unless they appear in the chat as themselves) but they have agreed to ask us some questions that they would normally not ask their own tutors. We are looking forward to the conversation and hope that it will be the first of many opportunities to bring students into #LTHEchat as the full members of the Learning and Teaching in Higher Education community that they are.
MetMUnch (metmunch.com) is a globally-recognised, student-led social enterprise based at MMU, which promotes sustainable, healthy and nutritious food. They educate, inform and entertain through food and fun, providing skills and training that develop MetMunchers into confident, passionate global citizens (@MetMUnch). They apply knowledge learned in the lecture theatre to university and community events, providing on-the-spot nutritional advice, running pop-up stalls, cooking nutritious meals and leading fun, interactive activities. MetMUnch’s commitment to sustainable food saw them win the national and international 2014 green gown awards for student engagement, and the founder, Haleh Moravej (@HalehMoravej), has won various awards for outstanding teaching for sustainability 2015 , best lecturer 2012 and best supervisor 2011 at MMU teaching awards as well as being Environmental Hero of MMU 2014.
