Save the date: 29 October! – #LTHEchat 1

Hello everybody and welcome to the Learning and Teaching in Higher Education Tweetchat!

Time has come for our first Tweetchat which will take place on 29 October 2014 8-9pm GMT. It would be lovely if you could make it.

Our topic is New ways to engage in bite-size professional development. This will provide us with an opportunity to reflect on where we are at the moment, individually and collectively and explore together fresh ideas to engage in new and exciting development activities that can be combined with workload and life and help us further develop our teaching practice.

The plan is to have guest tweetchat facilitators (please get in touch if you are interested!) and you are very welcome to vote for a future topic. Let us know also, if you have further suggestions to make #lthechat more valuable for you.

This first tweetchat will be led by Chrissi Nerantzi and Sue Beckingham.

We look forward chatting to you soon 😉

Welcome to #lthechat, a brand new start on the 29th of Oct 14

Twitter-#LTHEchat2Dear friends,

We are really excited! A new collaborative project is born between 4 individuals from different higher education institutions, Manchester Metropolitan University, Sheffield Hallam University, University of Sussex and the University of Liverpool.

Learning and Teaching in Higher Education chats or short #LTHEchats are here 🙂

From October 2014 we will be offering these weekly. Each will have a specific focus and it will be up to the community to decide what comes next. We will be inviting guest chat facilitators too and hope that you will join us for some speed CPD linked to learning and teaching. Students are also very welcome.

Our very first #lthechat will be on the 29th of October at 8pm. Join us for an hour of conversation around learning and teaching in higher education. Our first topic will be announced soon.

Have a look at the tweetchat help pages if you are new to these and get in touch if you have any questions or would like to be one of our guest chat facilitators.

Speak again soon,

Chrissi, Sue, David and Peter
